Ronald Levi Ballard Jr.

Ronald (Ronnie) Levi Ballard Jr., age 49, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 5th, 2021. In death he sleeps, awaiting a resurrection to a paradise on earth.

Ronald was born November 29th, 1971 in Des Moines, IA to Ronald Levi Ballard Sr. and Kathryn Elaine Ballard (Thrasher).

Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters; Cheryl Ballard and Lisa Hyde (Shawn), His nieces, Amber Kilburn (Christian) and Shawna Hyde, his great niece and nephews, Dylan, Christian and Skylor Kilburn and Maddison Hardie, His uncle, Gary Ballard (Jane) and cousin, Sarah Ballard, and girlfriend of 22 years, Julie Miller & family.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Ballard Sr. and Kathryn Ballard (Thrasher) and his uncle Gary Thrasher.

Ronnie enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, fishing, being outdoors and grilling/cooking. 

The family will be holding a private memorial in celebration of his life.
