Rodney John Ostdahl

Rodney John Ostdahl, 57, of Des Moines, formerly Waterloo, passed away peacefully July 2, 2022.  His wish was to be cremated.

Rodney was born January 31, 1965 to Clarence Palmer and Doris Mae (Meyer) Ostdahl.

Rodney loved fishing, and cooking. He had a loving generous heart for family and friends and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his son, Sean Handt, five brothers: Robert (Elaine) Ostdahl, Rick Ostdahl, Ronald Ostdahl, Rory Ostdahl, & Roderick Ostdahl, three sisters: Rita Spears, Ramona (Duane) Tilkes, & Renee (Duane) Steimel.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Doris Ostdahl and sister Rhonda Pierson.

The Family will be having a Celebration of Life for Rodney on July 15, 2022 @ Mo's lounge in Washburn, Iowa from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. Please come and share a story or two about Rodney as we say our final good bye.
