On December 11, 2023 Pete (Larry David) Klindt took up permanent residence in Heaven with his Savior.
Pete was born February 2, 1946 to Harry and Avis Rolf of Blue Earth, MN. Pete was blessed with two beautiful sisters, Barbara and Kristy and a brother, Douglas(now deceased).
From youth on Pete was vastly interested in music and took to performing like a duck takes to water.
Pete married Susie (Pamela Michalski) in 1969. They became proud parents to Samuel (now deceased), Anna and Andrew as well as son in law, John, daughters in law, Kelly and Suzanne, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pete worked as The Director of Operations for Git n Go Convenience Stores for 38 years.
At the age of 29 Pete gave his life to Jesus Christ as his Savior. His love for music remained as he strived to become the best he could be. Pete was proud and blessed to play with many fantastic and talented musicians over the decades with none more appreciated than his own son, Andy, who is an amazing songwriter, Musician and worship leader.
Pete also loved hunting, fishing and listening to the Hawkeyes with his oldest son Sam.
A service celebrating Pete’s life will be held at The Lutheran Church of Hope located at 925 Jordan Creek Parkway, West Des Moines, Iowa 50265.
Service time is 11:00am with a luncheon immediately following in the Bridge. The service will be live-streamed.
