Jerry Jerome Letze II

Jerry Jerome Letze, 58, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, August 5, 2021.  His wishes were to be cremated and private family services to remember and celebrate his life will be held at a later date.

Jerry was born on March 12, 1963 in Des Moines, Iowa. Jerry loved the outdoors, he spent a lot of his time camping and fishing. He also enjoyed music and attending many concerts. During his illness enjoyed putting together puzzles and giving them away to his family for keepsakes. Jerry also spent many hours playing the game, The Walking Dead.  Following in his father's and grandfather's footsteps Jerry worked on many golf courses as a greenskeeper and superintendent in Des Moines and Orlando, Florida.

Jerry is survived by his best friend and caregiver for the last year, Renee Moore; son, Jerry Jerome Letze lll; stepson, Jesse Moore; stepdaughter, Amanda (Josh) Shelton; grandchildren: Jayden, Julian, and Maximus Letze; mother Roberta Rohlf, stepfather James Rohlf; sisters: Karletta Letze, Katie (John) Jones and Kimberly Letze. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Jerome Letze Sr., infant brother, John Wesley Letze; family friend, Gary Cleaver and friend Charles Harman Jr., and his dog and companion Gin.
