Jeanine Louise Norlander (Jeannie)
Jeannie was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 21, 1952 to Doris and Richard Norlander. She worked at Northwestern Bell right out of high school where she scaled telephone poles until her retirement 33 years later.
Jeannie was service oriented and a natural caregiver with an extraordinary love for animals. She was the original animal whisperer. Dogs, cats, even horses loved her equally. Her beloved cat, Gabbi brought joy to her life and loyal companionship.
Jeannie is survived by her sister, Janice Prosperi (Bob), nephew Eric Prosperi (Alessandra), niece Angie Stoltz (Todd) and five beloved great-nieces and nephews Anthony, Mia, Leah, Evan and Ben. Jeannie will be missed by her family, friends, dear neighbors and fellow wrestling fan club in Grimes and Minneapolis.
Jeannie will be laid to rest at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens – 200 Hwy 13 East, Burnsville, MN 55337 on Saturday, November 23rd at 2pm. All are welcome to join family and friends for her celebration of life.
In memory of Jeannie, consider making a donation to Rescue Rehab Rehome, a not-for-profit animal rescue group in Grimes, IA.
