Guadalupe "Lupe" Cantu Obituary

Guadalupe "Lupe" Maria Cantu, age 27, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center.

Guadalupe Maria Cantu was born on July 21, 1993 in Grand Prairie, TX to Juan Marco and Corina (Esparza) Cantu.

In death Lupe rejoins her grandparents; Domingo and Marianna (Lavender) Cantu, parents and little sister, Marianna Cantu.

She will be remembered by her sisters; Andrea Cantu of Des Moines, IA; Alicia Cantu of Dallas, TX; two aunts; Jolanda (Israel) Miranda and Esmeralda (Jose Marin) Cantu.

Lupe had a smile that was contagious and a laugh that made your day better. Her dimples were her charm. Through life she had many struggles and she was a fighter.
