Elizabeth Jane Rolan

Elizabeth Jane Rolan, 87, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Unity Point Iowa Methodist Medical Center with her family by her side.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Chapel (7601 Fleur Dr., Des Moines, IA  50321).

Elizabeth Jane Marsh was born on December 25, 1936, to Richard Roscoe Leonard “Pretty Boy” and Helen Agnes Marsh in Des Moines, Iowa, where she grew up.

She is survived by Charles Ricky (Becky) Venn, Ronald Joe Venn, Terry Lynn (Michael) Polk, Ronda Jane Venn, Patrick Allen (Becky) Venn, Kelly Ann (Nicole) Larpenter, 24 grandchildren, and 51 great-grandchildren.

In death, she joins her parents, sisters, Darleen Garrison, Louise Williams, Donna Dunham, and Geneva Vansickle; brother Richard Marsh; grandson Levi; and her great-grandson Blaine.
