Connie L. Poundstone

Connie L. Poundstone, 82, passed away with her family by her side on Friday, September 6, 2019 at Polk City Nursing and Rehabilitation.  

Connie was born October 12, 1936 to Paul Fox and Mabel Elizabeth (Hawk) Voegtlin in Mitchellville, IA.  She grew up in Mitchellville and graduated from Mitchellville High School in 1954. She later worked at and retired from Delavan Manufacturing. 

She is survived by her children; Rhonda (Dan) Burch of Ankeny, IA; Linda (Jim) Hanifen of Johnston, IA; Kim (Steve) Troja of Grimes, IA; Deniese Llamas of Berwick, IA; David Wheeler of Des Moines, IA; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren, sisters; Shirley Convertti and Jennifer Voegtlin; and brothers; Rex (Karen) Voegtlin and Steve (Cory) Voegtlin.

In death Connie rejoins her parents and sister; Judy Weatherly and grandson; Adrian Wheeler.
