Brett E. Toney

Brett E. Toney, passed away on June 19, 2022.  His wish was to be cremated and a celebration of life and interment will take place at The Iowa Veteran's Cemetery at a later date.

Brett was born in Des Moines, IA on March 15, 1961. He graduated from Hoover High School. He was proud to serve his country as a helicopter pilot in the Iowa Army National Guard. He worked for several years at Titan Tire and was a member of Local 164 and later joined the Operators Union Local 234. He enjoyed operating heavy equipment, hunting, fishing, and grilling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Janet Toney.

He is survived by his daughters; Jessica Toney and Alexis (Chance) Pippin, four grandchildren, brother, Scott Toney and nephew, Chance Toney.
